island hostels in colombo surpassed my expectations! their friendly staff, especially kasun, made my trip to sigiriya a breeze. communication was easy as they accommodated my deafness. the hostel itself is a gem - beautiful house, pool, and great location. it's better than a hotel, allowing you to meet new people and make friends. a perfect stay in colombo!

Shower drain clogged with hair.

The beds in the dorm room were incredibly comfortable, and each bed had its own individual locker, lights, and plug sockets. The showers provided warm water, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient, being centrally located yet tucked away at the end of a street for a quieter atmosphere. The building itself was grand and had a lovely spacious garden area where we could relax and socialize with other travelers. The kitchen and lounge areas were cool and well-equipped. it was an excellent place to stay, and we would definitely stay again.

I recently had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. the location is perfect as it is situated in a quiet area yet still conveniently close to the train station. Secondly, the rooms are in really good condition with private bathrooms and AC, providing excellent comfort. Lastly, the breakfast included in the price was a nice touch, ensuring a great start to the day.

The people I met at the hostel were really friendly and I enjoyed spending time with them during the festive season. the hostel’s location was great because it had easy access to the beach and other places of interest. I also liked the fact that the hostel had a good kitchen with all the necessary amenities and utensils to help prepare your own food. the beds were comfortable and each had a locker.

There were a few things that took away from the experience. the wi-fi was spotty at best, this was not the best especially since I wanted to video call with my family back home.
